The hip hop artist Kanye West has announced on his blog that the "Good Morning" music video directed by artist/animator Takashi Murakami has reached #1 on Apple's iTunes music video chart in the United States. This computer-animated music video was just released on the iTunes Store on Tuesday.

- Shogakukan, Shueisha to Directly Publish in Europe
The Nikkei news source reports that the Japanese publishers Shogakukan and Shueisha will join forces to directly publish manga in Europe starting in the fall of 2009. The two companies plan to publish in France first, and then expand to Great Britain, Spain, and the other European countries.
